“My partner and I have this little dream of creating
lamps that could ‘speak’ or interact in fun ways
when you walk into a room. For me, soldering is the
gateway to bringing those kinds of ideas to life. At
first, I was actually quite intimidated by it, but I’m
really happy that I was able to overcome that fear
here.
My favorite moment at the Weller Soldering Experience was realizing how quickly I managed to
finish my project – even faster than my partner –
and hearing that I did it really well. That positive
feedback gave me a big confidence boost. The
instructions were clear, the atmosphere was
fun, and I found myself forgetting my fear almost
immediately. It turned into a very enjoyable
experience. For me personally, making is definitely
a hobby – but maybe more than just a hobby.”
