The Electronics Foundation, formerly IPC Education Foundation empowers students across
the U.S. by providing access to industryrelevant resources, training, and events.
Through partnerships with schools,
scholarships, and hands-on com petitions, the Foundation supports
workforce development and promotes
careers in electronics manufacturing
nationwide.
While soldering plays a key role in this
mission, the Foundation takes a holistic
approach – aiming to inspire, educate,
and connect the next generation of
professionals across the entire electronics industry.
A vital part of this mission is the close
collaboration with industry leaders. In
working with partners like Weller Tools,
The Electronics Foundation equip
students with cutting-edge tools and
practical skills – ensuring they are well
prepared to meet the evolving
demands of the electronics industry
both in the U.S. and globally.
Most recently, Weller donated $ 5,000
worth of advanced soldering equipment to Stephen F. Austin State University to enrich engineering workshops
that emphasize practical skills.
